• Developing and applying qNMR methods for measuring the purity of patulin, deoxynivalenol (DON), aflatoxin B1 and zearalenone primary reference materials.
• Structure and identity confirmation of patulin and DON materials based on NMR experiments.
• Characterisation of optimum solvents and internal standards for qNMR measurements on pure mycotoxin materials.
• Optimisation of experimental conditions and the measurement uncertainty budget for qNMR results in these solvents.

• Investigating the sources of measurement uncertainty and bias, and the major influence factors, in qNMR measurements of non-polar small organics in non-polar solvents using the JEOL ECS-400 spectrometer.
